HELPING HANDS MINISTRY
|This is an update from Helping Hands Ministry.
The Helping Hands committee has been so glad to be able to help several people. Please check the Helping Hands bulletin board behind the "old sanctuary" for new updates weekly.
This need was posted on the last Helping Hands mail out, and has not been met yet. It seems to be such an easy need to meet, you may be thinking someone else has donated to this need... but no one has. I spoke to the family of Ashley, and Ashley is in need of many things, but is only asking for help with maternity clothes. If you are reading this and you have maternity clothes you are not using, please get in touch with this family. Ashley is a relative of Ms. Virginia Hodges.
Ashley Tucker is in need of some maternity clothes. Size is medium to large. I bet this is an easy need to meet, if anyone can donate to Ashley, please call her at 601-595-1375- cell or 601-453-5022- home.
Summer Robbins is a member of Northcrest and describes her need as this:
I have a two year old girl and a three year old girl. I've recently lost both my parents, and am having difficulty providing Christmas for my children. My two-year old daughter is in need of some clothes size 2T, socks and shoes, size 6-6.5, and she loves Minnie Mouse. My three-year old daughter is now wearing 3T clothes and has outgrown all her older clothes because she's getting tall. She needs socks, panties, and shoes size 7-7.5. She also loves anything having to do with the movie Frozen.
I would appreciate any help I can get. Thank you.
If you can help Summer provide clothes for her children, please call her at 601-934-4706.
Amanda Suttles is not a member of Northcrest but found us on Face book and posted this need concerning her 12 year old daughter:
I need help providing my daughter with Christmas. I called Wesley House and was told I was too late in applying for help. My daughter Heather Bennett is 14 years old and is in the 5th grade at Southeast School. She wears a size 14 pant and size 5 shoe. She is in need of uniforms for school and would love to have a girls bike and also would like an iPod.
If you would like to help provide these items for Heather, please contact her mother, Amanda Suttles. Address is 1635 Sand Flat Road and phone number is 601-453-3127.
Update on Nicole: she has had a job interview, and should hear something back from the interview soon. Nicole would appreciate your prayers as she waits on the news.

Remember if you have a need or anything you would like to donate you can go to www.northcrestbaptist.com/go/helpinghands and submit your need or your item. Helping Hands Ministry is a way for Northcrest members to help each other. No item is too large or too small; you never know what others may be in need of. If you do not want your name listed, just specify that, and then only your need and contact information will be posted. Along with needs being posted on Helping Hands Ministry web site, there is also a bulletin board in the hallway behind the choir room (or old sanctuary). You may fill out a need request online or from the bulletin board.
If Helping Hands Ministry can be of any help to you or you have a question, please contact us through our web site or bulletin board.
If you meet a need, please go to Helping Hands website and let us know so the need can be removed.
Or, let one of our committee members know: Richmond Alexander, Elizabeth Goggins, Carlton Lafferty, Carol Moore, Rhonda Moore, Justin Palmer or Randy Smith.
